OHIO
Hi Rosa, After reading your book and viewing your speach on You Tube, I have purchased a second copy to hand deliver to Mayor Elect of Cincinnati, Ohio, John Cranley. He ran on a Stop the Streetcar platform. Thanks to you, what always to me looked like bad economic decisions now looks like something else. They put those plant islands in the middle of Gibert Avenue all the way down a 45 degree incline. That impairs the use of a heavily traveled main corridor in Cincinnati, which is a slip and slide during winter storms. I live at the bottom of an incline, cars wreck at certain points every year. Picture San Franciso streets with ice on them. On top of the trafic hazard, they put them in locations where if you are travelling south on Gilbert, it is now impossible to make a left turn into the driveways of the row houses and businesses on one side of the street all the way down. If houses in that area were hard to sell before, who would buy them now? I don't own a car, and live in an apartment complex on a main bus line. Obviously, I support mass transit. But buses can be continually rerouted as needed and are more flexible, and are cheaper than some of the stuff being proposed. Someone on the Atlanta transit board once told me that nationwide, they carry the most passengers - but like Rodney Dangerfield, get no respect for what they do.

MINNESOTA

Thanks to Rosa's book and youtube videos we had the ammunition and education to change the course of our county comprehensive plan. The Mille Lacs TEA Party Patriots (https://www.facebook.com/groups/377416145670650/) and other citizens have a win in our County Comprehensive plan! We worked for over 2 years to get this statement in our county's comp. plan. We borrowed some of the language from the Lewis County, Wa. plan and our commissioners added more to include the references to the US and Minnesota state constitutions. Here is the statement in the first page of the purpose of the comp. plan. "Mille Lacs County will advocate the rights of property ownership, recognizing the primacy of property rights and the sanctity of private property ownership as enunciated in the Fifth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and Article 1, Sections 7 and 13 of the Minnesota Constitution. Mille Lacs County will uphold the rights of private property ownership. The right to obtain private property and enjoy its uses is priority one in Mille Lacs County. Along with this right is the responsibility to ensure that the individual activities of one property owner do not adversely affect another property owner’s rights". Spread the word!

AUSTRALIA
In Australia, Agenda 21 is being implemented by the 'International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives', Global and ICLEI Oceania {Australia and NZ}, since renamed ICLEI Local Governments for Sustainability, Mikhail Gorbachev's Green Cross International and Green Cross Australia which was founded in 2008 and is located in Brisbane. Since 1992 Environment Australia's Intergovernmental Unit and ANZECC Secretariat, has implemented Agenda 21 using the Australian Local Government Association, state and territory local government associations, Council of Australian Governments {COAG}and the National Competition Policy {NCP}and Council. LA21 the local government Application of Agenda 21 has been widely adopted by councils throughout Australia who therefore now act as agents of the UN actively implementing Agenda 21 policy in Australia at the local community level without the community's knowledge. The Australian media refuses to inform the public on ICLEI and Agenda 21 activities

ILLINOIS
I cannot thank you enough for the flyers! We handed out "What is wrong with Sustainable Development" last Saturday afternoon after the Town of Normal, Illinois received an award from the Illinois Sierra Club for all of the green initiatives that the town has done. Normal, Illinois is very progressive; while not officially a member of ICLEI, we might as well be as our Mayor Chris Koos has spoken at ICLEI meetings. Our mayor wants Normal,Illinois to be the sustainability model for the state and the nation. We have a wide assortment of "green" here-gently pushing electric cars (may be a dozen being used here), an east side bypass to finish encircling the city, more security cameras being placed, talk of Gateways being erected, several mixed use buildings in place and more to come, pushing for community gardens, a push to reconfigure part of Main Street to include a bike path, etc. David Hales, the City Manager of Bloomington and Mayor Chris Koos have been very busy!!!!!!!

GRABBING THE BULL BY THE HORNS IN AUSTRALIA: FIGHTING AGENDA 21

10/25/2013

Picture
There are still free people in Australia.  When it became clear that the 'news' media would not publish the truth about ICLEI's influence on local government or about the facts of UN Agenda 21/Sustainable Development, free people stepped up.
The following is a note from someone who purchased advertising space in the newspapers and published the information that has been hidden from the people of Far North Queensland, Australia, and the rest of the world.

"I have been a resident of Far North Queensland for about 8 years. In that time we have experienced an Amalgamation of our Local Councils and then a De-amalgamation. We have seen proposed planning schemes laced with UN Agenda 21 and ICLEI influence which spurred additional support for the De-amalgamation of our local shire.
During that campaign and Local, State and Federal elections; politicians from all parties have ignored resident/voter letters and requests on where they stand on AG21/ICLEI.
There are a few radio personalities who will cover AG21/ICLEI from local to national.
Any info that made it to the newspapers was edited and did not reflect the message to expose Agenda 21 or ICLEI influence in local/state town planning.

Our current solution is to pay for our Open Letters to appear in the local newspapers to:

a) alert the readers of the publications of the existence of Agenda 21 or ICLEI.
b) force a public profile of the existence of Agenda 21 or ICLEI into the media.
c) alert employees of the media (from journalists to the legal departments who proof publications).
d) specifically name the MP's we are addressing publicly regarding their support or opposition to Agenda 21/ICLEI.
e) identify a voter 'issue' not being addressed to all personalities who wish to run for local, state or federal office.
f) counter Agenda 21 at the local/grass roots level where Agenda 21 is currently being imposed in our region."

Surprised to see this letter in our local propaganda unit

From the Santa Rosa Press Democrat newspaper Opinion section, Wednesday August 7, 2013
EDITOR: Our presidential experiment started in 2008. We should have known that personal records sealed and words of misrepresentation didn’t favor our future.

Here’s where we are: $17 trillion in debt, sovereignty outsourced to the United Nations, millions unemployed, the food stamp army doubled, IRS targeting of the tea party, a Benghazi cover-up, the Fast and Furious debacle, an unaffordable health care act nightmare, open borders, Sharia law encroaching on our judicial system, dramatic cuts to the military, political correctness favoring radical Islam, green energy scams, foreign policy incompetence, attacks on the Constitution, circumvention of Congress, recruitment of radical czars, Environmental Protection Agency and fossil-fuel tax abuse, wholesale voter fraud and a bogus emphasis on global warming to justify radical actions by an out-of-control government.
Liberalism doesn’t appear to be working. Detroit’s bankruptcy is a good example of what happens when liberalism goes unopposed. Perhaps we as voters should replace liberal senators in the 2014 elections with conservatives. After that we can make bolder changes at the presidential level. Just think of the progress we can make with Harry Reid no longer in control of the Senate.

Look at the Democrats Against U.N. Agenda 21 website. Some good work being done by Rosa Koire.

BOB SHOPTAW

Thanks, Bob.  Is the answer to just elect 'conservatives'?  No.  We have to be discerning regardless of party affiliation and do the hard work of holding our elected officials to a higher standard. "Representatives" who refuse to recognize the impacts of regionalization and UN Agenda 21/Sustainable Development on our fragile freedom should be removed regardless of party.

Snowed in on July 4th

7/4/2013

Another Fourth of July that rings hollow.

Let's run it down:

A man is living like a hunted animal in an airport across the world because he exposed a secret.  The secret is that our government is spying on us. The Russians say he can stay in Russia if he agrees not to release any more secrets and he refuses.  A traitor or a brave patriot?  I say he's a patriot.

Lt. Bradley Manning exposed, among other things, that our own military committed crimes.  His reward?  Prison and torture.

Men and women like you are going to their government meetings, waiting for hours for the three minutes allotted to them for public comments, and speaking the truth to their 'representatives.'  Those representatives sit like tin gods in judgement and do not respond.  Why?  Because they themselves are managed by large organizations like the National Association of Regional Governments, and the League of Cities, and the International Association of Cities and Counties, and the National Association of Counties.  All of these groups work with ICLEI.  They provide the statutes and laws and ordinances that you struggle against, and tell corrupt city attorneys to fight you.

The joke's on us, isn't it?  We pay for it.  We vote for it.  We support it.  Those of us who just can't believe that our government would do a thing like that.  Or who think that the bureaucrats are just too stupid to know what they're doing.  Or who figure that no conspiracy could be possible that involves so many people.

In a way, that's true.  Because people who are willing to go along to get along are in the majority and they always will be.  These are people who are trained from kindergarten right through graduate school in Sustainable Development principles.  They think they're doing the right thing.  When we encounter them at government meetings we're always told that we are afraid of change or we're anti-government.  They grow up working in consensus, always surrounded by people who agree with them.  They can't take the stress of rejection and dissent.  Their world is simple; black and white, right and wrong, hot and cold.  Going against the consensus means loss of 'community' for people who have been working in a cohort since they were in pre-school.  They don't see it as a conspiracy--to them it's just working together on a common goal.  Communitarianism.

As you watch nations devolving in the Middle East and see millions in squares risking their lives ask yourself when it's alright for one nation to arm the citizens of another in order to overthrow a government.  What if that happened here?

On Independence Day we ask ourselves what it means to be free.  We ask ourselves what 'life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness' means when our nation moves into $17 trillion in debt. We speak out as all around us our cities and counties are forming regional alliances that are destroying our representative form of government and erasing jurisdictional boundaries.

Those of us who are conscious and aware must be the brave ones who inform the rest.  What does this mean: "Land of the Free, Home of the Brave"?  To me it means keeping a republican form of government.  Adhering to the Constitution. Fighting for what is right, for the individual's rights.

We are snowed in on the Fourth of July but we'll dig ourselves out.  Every day we expand awareness and dispel the fog of lies that surrounds us.  Being free takes work.  It's not fireworks and hot dogs.  It's long hours, public meetings, and flyering, and speeches, and lawsuits, and yes, bravery.  It's been a long time since 1776 and we have slipped.  Let's get it back.  Stand with us.

AWARENESS IS THE FIRST STEP IN THE RESISTANCE.

A Time to Sue: Regionalism Challenged
By Freedom Advocates   Wednesday, 05 June 2013 17:04

First Ever Legal Challenge to Stop Agenda 21 Nine-County Regional Plan

The plot to transform the San Francisco Bay Area is largely unknown by the residents living there and overwhelmingly opposed by those who do know. The global boiler plate program called One Bay Area (OBA) or Plan Bay Area will roll out across the nation on a grand scale. OBA involves more than $250,000,000,000 (over a quarter of a trillion dollars).

The plan destroys rural and suburban lifestyles and transforms areas into dense mega-cities where people are assessed, monitored and controlled. Sound extreme?

Freedom Advocates and The Post Sustainability Institute hired the law firm of Kassouni Law to evaluate and comment on OBA/Plan Bay Area. Mr. Kassouni's review focused on Natural Law, and Constitutional, and/or statutory violations inherent to the Plan. Litigation to stop the Plan must be filed within 90 days of the Plan's adoption which is scheduled for July of this year.

Regional government is promulgated through Councils of Governments (COGs) and serves to neuter local government through a federalized system of carrots and sticks. COGs are designed to be the primary engine in the United States to advance Agenda 21 at the local level. The Plan for the Bay Area is the prototype of what COGs throughout the country will commit to if the Plan is implemented in the Bay Area. Over time the Plan abolishes private property as a system of public private partnerships assume control of our economic future.

You can help

Freedom Advocates has established a litigation fund to halt the Plan's affront to the American system of government. We need your financial help and the help of many more to avoid an administrative takeover of America including the restructure of your entire way of life.

You can contribute to the campaign to Say No to Regionalism.

Please send your tax-deductible contribution to the "Freedom Advocates OBA Legal Fund" and mail to Freedom Advocates Box 3330 Freedom, California 95019.

You will be making an invaluable and timely contribution to salvage a Constitutional America.

FIGHTING BACK IN NEW HAMPSHIRE:  YES WE CAN!

6/17/2013

Picture
Hey, just because they got a 20 year headstart on us doesn't mean we can't win this.  Here's an example for everyone across the nation.  As you know, regional plans are infesting every part of our country.  If it's not ONE BAY AREA, it's the POWER of 32, or PLAN ET, or HORIZON 2035.  In New Hampshire it's called GRANITE STATE FUTURE. Their slogan is 'Granite State Future is YOUR future.'  The consultants and government lackeys who are pushing the regionalization of New England are using HUD grants to direct local government to create the 'future we want' as it's called by the UN (Rio + 20).

Here's where the story gets good.

A dedicated group of free people in New Hampshire fought back against Granite State Future.  They showed up at Delphi meetings and anti-Delphi'd them.  They video'd every public meeting.  They created email lists.  They organized debates.  They flyered.  They created a website.

What kind of website?  A website that makes you sit up and take notice.  A mirror website of Granite State Future--the official website of the invading government force.  A website that tells the truth about Granite State Future.
The Resistance website is Granite State Futures--with an 's' at the end.  Great idea, right?  What's their slogan?  'Granite State Future is HUD's Future.'

So the 'S'- at- the- end -Resistance -website, Granite State Futures, got some feedback from the state government.  The state wasn't happy about the fact that a mirror site was up on the web informing citizens about UN Agenda 21/Sustainable Development and the motives and tactics being used to implement regional governance over New Hampshire.  In fact, the state was so unhappy about this that the government made a complaint that their copyright had been infringed.  They tried to get Granite State Future
s removed from the internet.  TWICE.

You're not surprised.  What does that tell you?  Anyway, you can imagine that this might have intimidated the heroes of our story.  But it didn't.  They fought back.  They knew that the government doesn't have copyrights over their public domain information.  Why?  Because we, the public, paid for it and we own it.

So what happened?  The government filed a complaint with the server hosting the Resistance website, and the server investigated and refused to remove the Resistance site, Granite State Futures.  This is BIG.  This is IMPORTANT.  You are entitled to your free speech rights.  USE THEM.  FIGHT BACK.  If you sit silent WE WILL LOSE.  Join with others.  Use GRANITE STATE FUTURES as a template for your action.

READ THEIR STORY HERE ON THEIR WEBSITE.

TAKEOVER OF BRITAIN'S NATIONAL HEALTHCARE SYSTEM

5/19/2013

PRIVATIZATION.  Whether you privatize healthcare or roads or schools you get a system that has to make a profit above all else, with the risks carried by the public, and the profits made by the corporations.  You lose, and will never regain control.

Watch Dr. Lucy Reynolds being interviewed right before the finalization of the demolition of Britain's National Health Service.  It is being dismantled in the same way that a hostile takeover of a company would be processed:  the profit centers are retained and the high cost centers are dumped.  That means elective surgery stays and emergency care is jettisoned.

What is the model?  The United States---where people are bankrupted trying to get the care they need.

ROSA'S RECENT SPEECH: THE LAWSUIT AGAINST UN AGENDA 21

5/18/2013

I’m scheduled to give you an update on what’s happening around
the nation and I will, in a minute.

First, I want to talk about One Bay Area/PLAN BAY AREA and Agenda 21/Sustainable Development.

Keep in mind that globalization is the standardization of systems. Making systems uniform so that they can be managed through a computer with the most efficiency and control is the goal. When the systems are controlled the people are controlled.

Efficiency is the mask for this totalitarian takeover. Regionalization is the interim step to globalization and, ultimately, to a single central
control.  In order to implement regionalization local political boundaries must be blurred and erased.  Although the forms may exist for a period of time, there will be no actual power in the local governments.  Unelected boards and commissions will dictate local action for common good.  The common good is identified as that which fragments and destroys social cohesion.  Individuals will serve
the Communitarian ideal.  So this is a circle that is made tighter and tighter as time progresses. Dissent necessarily becomes a threat to the common good and individual expression will be restricted to whatever supports the common good.

The individual who functions well in this society is insane.
We’re seeing the results of this pressure now in our culture.

You know that an integral part of Plan Bay Area is the identification of Planned Development Areas in specific narrow locations in existing or proposed transit corridors. When this plan was being developed as the Compact for a Sustainable Bay Area back in 1997-2003 much of the funding was expected to come from Redevelopment property tax diversion.  Conceptually the idea was that areas could be declared blighted under the Health and Safety Code and then bonded debt could be sold to pay for high density development---development for which there is little demand so it needs government subsidies.  Redevelopment areas could be rezoned via Specific Plans which also made them perfect for smart growth.  Transit oriented development and infill development could be designed into the Redevelopment projects and would basically be immune to challenge because of the Health and Safety Code blight findings.

Redevelopment in California ended in 2012 and this is an inconvenience for SB 375 and AB32-- the Sustainable Communities Strategies laws that implement Agenda 21 for land use here in California.  HUD grants, the Partnership for Sustainable Communities Grants, the One Bay Area Grant program, and Transportation grants all step up to fill in the infrastructure financing gap.  We know that even though CARB has established greenhouse gas reduction targets of 7% below 2005 levels by 2020 and 15% below 2005 levels by 2035 it doesn’t say how to do that.  Rather than having, say, better CAFÉ standards or increasing bus service, we’re seeing mass transit fare increases and service reduction all over the Bay Area.

Money for high speed rail will bleed us for decades, and the North Bay SMART train won’t even link to the ferry system to San Francisco.  If it’s not making sense you can be sure it’s Agenda 21.

The Hegelian Dialectic is at play here: Create a crisis and then
propose the solution. The so-called compromise is the plan you would never had considered without the crisis.

Now I want to talk about action.  Legal action.

When PDAs were proposed to cities they had no idea that PDAs were a restriction on development inside of the Urban Growth Boundaries for a generation. Cities thought this was just a way to get funds for development and infrastructure in their core transportation areas. The One Bay Area Preferred Scenario, already passed by MTC and ABAG, states that roughly 80% of all new housing units are to be built in the Priority Development Areas. Enforcement appears to be based on whether or not the affected cities will be receiving transportation grants to support the new development.  Non-compliance would mean less money for the cities that do not go along with the plan.

One Bay Area states that 66% of all new employment is to be within PDA boundaries. Properties with commercial space, office buildings, factories, and industrial uses could be worthless under this plan if they are outside the PDAs.

How would permits be granted and employment rights be given?  Do the quotas for the PDAs have to be achieved first and then go to the respective 20% and 34% figures?  What if those numbers are not achieved?  What criteria will be used to decide who gets development rights and who doesn't? It is significant that ABAG population projections are roughly double those of the Department of Finance.  ABAG and MTC project the Bay Area population to increase by 2 million by 2035, while the Dept of Finance estimates just 1.7 million by 2060. Over-predictions of population virtually guarantee that we will not reach the target development thresholds set by MTC/ABAG.

Most cities have voter approved urban growth boundaries.
The ordinances "encourage residential, commercial and industrial growth in areas served by urban services'.  Development is to be encouraged on all property within the UGB.

Within these boundaries property owners have a reasonable expectation to develop their property supported by city infrastructure in accordance with local regulations.  The PDAs ignore these Urban Growth Boundaries and effectively create new ones; the new non-voter-approved PDAs for 25 years. This is a violation of local and state law.

In addition to that, under the 5th amendment of the US constitution, the takings clause states that no land shall be taken without just compensation.  Effectively creating an artificial restricted new Urban Growth Boundary within the existing Urban Growth Boundary is a violation of the equal protection clause of the 14th amendment of the US constitution.

Most cities in California have increased density in all of their zoning—not just on residential zones. The General Plans have increased development potential at the same time that it will be restricted by One Bay Area.

Furthermore, state law permits all single family residences in California to build a second unit if certain criteria are met.  This law effectively upzoned all single family properties so that most have development potential.  What the PDAs do is damage every SFR --single family property-- that does not have a second unit on it.  That means most of us have legal standing.

I have agreements with three law firms to independently review
One Bay Area's Final Draft Plan when it is released next month.
We want to stop this plan.  If MTC and ABAG are able to push this through we will lose our constitutional protections all across the nation.  We're not interested in a CEQA challenge.  This is a fight to stop the plan itself.  We need to get ready to get our wallets out because this will be the fight of the century.

One last thing about this:  When Hitler marched into Austria he met little resistance.  Why? Because the dissenters had been rounded up in a single day and arrested.  How were thousands of people identified in such a short time?  Every gathering, like this one, had its spy.

I wouldn't be surprised if there were a spy here in this room.  This is a very serious action we are proposing and could have far reaching impacts on the entire country.  So with that in mind I will say that if we lose against the MTC we will sue the cities and the counties.

And as far as the news from the nation goes, the Resistance is growing fast and growing strong. There are people all across the country who will contribute to this fight. This year, 2013, will be the year that we reach critical awareness of UN Agenda 21/Sustainable Development.

This year is the year that we break through.
DONATE TO STOP THIS PLAN.

COMMON CORE BACKLASH

4/15/2013

The joke is that you can mess with my kids but don't touch my dog.  Well, luckily it's not true that people--parents and educators---will stand quietly and allow their children to be abused by standardized testing and 'educational' programs.  I almost typed 'pogroms'.  Look it up.

So the Associated Press finally broke down and did a story on Common Core, but didn't name it.  They focused in on just standardized testing and not on standardized curriculum.  According to a former Bush operative who helped write No Child Left Behind, Sandy Kress, the problem is in 'overtesting.'   After the Associated Press adds a couple of columns to muddy the issue and not address standardized 'education' and data collection, Kress wraps up the article in phony concern for the children.  Here's the quote: "This is about way more than testing," Kress said.  "The question is whether we're (she means 'Society' here) willing to hold ourselves accountable.  The question is whether there are consequences for adults and whether we're serous about all children meeting standards.  This is a test of our culture and whether we're prepared to see these aspirations to reality.  I worry that we're not going to pass this test."

She's worried that society won't be able to pull off the most massive, comprehensive social manipulation since Nazi Germany, Maoist China, and Soviet Russia.  Worried.

Now I want to read you something from a book called The Gulag Archipelago.  This book was written by a man who was a prisoner in Soviet Russia during the years of Lenin and Stalin.  The book covers the years 1918-1956, and it's painful reading. The passage I'm going to share with you will answer your question:  How can people do these things?  Do they actually believe that they're doing the right thing?  Why can't they listen to us?

"Ideology--that is what gives evildoing its long-sought justification and gives the evildoer the necessary steadfastness and determination.  That is the social theory which helps to make his acts seem good instead of bad in his own and others' eyes, so that he won't hear reproaches and curses but will receive praise and honors. ..  Thanks to ideology, the twentieth century was fated to experience evildoing on a scale calculated in the millions.  This cannot be denied, nor passed over, nor suppressed.  How, then, do we dare insist that evildoers do not exist?...Yes, a human being hesitates and bobs back and forth between good and evil all his life.  He slips, falls back, clambers up, repents, things begin to darken again.  But just so long as the threshold of evildoing is not crossed, the possibility of returning remains, and he himself is still within reach of our hope.  But when, through the density of evil actions, the result either of their own extreme degree or of the absoluteness of his power, he suddenly crosses that threshold, he has left humanity behind, and without, perhaps, the possibility of return."   From Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn's The Gulag Archipelago.

According to the Associated Press article, students all over the United States are refusing to take standardized tests.  Opt-outs, boycotts, protests, and moratoriums are spreading.

BEHIND THE GREEN MASK: UN Agenda 21 goes to all WA legislators

4/8/2013

A great non-partisan group of people in Washington state just arranged to have 147 books sent to their state legislators.  I was really pleased to receive the following video with the great news.

LETTER TO EDITOR FROM BERKELEY ENVIRONMENTALIST

3/25/2013

FROM THE BERKELEY VOICE NEWSPAPER, BERKELEY CALIFORNIA
2/14/13
High-rise apartments

As a longtime, left-leaning local environmental activist, I have been scratching my head over why our environmentally minded, or so I thought, City of Berkeley equates environmentalism with high-density, big-development projects, such as the high rise "luxury apartment" building featured in Judith Scherr's Jan. 18 Voice article, a project that was dubbed an "ecotower" by East Bay Express editor Robert Gammon.

It has become clearer to me now that I have read Rosa Koire's book "Behind The Green Mask: U.N. Agenda 21," telling of her experiences with the City of Santa Rosa.

Can you remember when we started hearing jargon phrases like "smart growth," "high density urban mixed use," and that word that is music to an environmentalist's ears, "sustainability?" The United Nation's idea of sustainability is quite different from what the average environmentalist has in mind.

Have you watched as old buildings are torn down and huge building after huge building is erected, now seemingly unoccupied? Why? The City of Berkeley did not come up with this stuff. The exact same lingo, methods and policies are being adopted by cities all over this county, country and world.

El Cerrito, Albany, Oakland and Walnut Creek have all, unbeknownst to most of their constituents, signed on with The International Council of Local Environmental Initiatives, which is tasked with carrying out the goals of U.N. Agenda 21 originally signed onto by President George H.W. Bush and by every subsequent U.S. president.

Shouldn't it concern us that an outside unelected nongovernmental organization is inserting itself into the zoning and planning departments of cities all over this country and regional boards are being created that make land use decisions unaccountable to the public?

"Smart growth" is not a local initiative. It is a land and power grab by corporate forces that are hijacking and financing the unwitting leftist environmental movement frightened of global warming.

Those on the left who are willing to make sacrifices and take personal responsibility for environmental degradation need to apprise themselves of how they are being used: The ultimate goal being to take away the sovereignty of local city governments, take away property rights of average citizens via redevelopment, eminent domain and rezoning, and to increase government control over our lives.

The farther government gets from the people the less power we have over our lives and local environment. Do the research. You can come to no other conclusion.

    And the winner is...

What is UN Agenda 21/Sustainable Development?
It is the blueprint, the comprehensive plan of action for the 21st century to inventory and control all land, all water, all plants, all minerals, all animals, all construction, all means of production, all energy, all law enforcement, all health care, all food, all education, all information, and all human beings in the world
    .

Your energy consumption will be controlled until you can't farm, can't manufacture, can't travel, can't fish, can't use your land. Productivity and businesses are limited now.

You've heard that story about Tony Blair asking Angela Merkel how Germany could have such a high GDP when it was such a small country.  Merkel snapped at him: We still make things in Germany, Mr. Blair.
