About a month ago ICLEI removed the membership list for the USA from their icleiusa.org website. On their international website they still list USA members but NOT BY CITY--just by state. Click to see. They tell you how many cities in each state are members but not who they are. Here's an example:
State of Florida: 40 members
State of Georgia: 9 members
State of Hawaii: 2 members
State of Idaho: 2 members
State of Illinois: 17 members
State of Indiana: 5 members
State of Iowa: 7 members
State of Kansas: 7 members
State of Kentucky: 3 members
State of Louisiana: 2 members
State of Maine: 6 members
State of Maryland: 12 members
State of Massachusetts: 32 members
State of Michigan: 5 members
State of Minnesota: 11 members
State of Missouri: 11 members
Better hurry up and look at it since it'll probably be gone in a week. The USA is the only country where they don't list the individual members.
Funny thing about the internet though, is that you can get archived pages of websites and review them now. Here's a list from July 3, 2013 (did they take it down on Independence Day? Just wondering...) Our friends at DowntownCary.org archived it. Click to read it. Now, this list is incorrect. It still lists as members some of the cities that have quit ICLEI. That's not surprising. An organization that hides, that lies, that sneaks around, is not going to tell you that you're making a difference. Your efforts to reject ICLEI's influence on your city are making a difference. For more information see our ICLEI page.
KICK ICLEI OUT OF YOUR CITY.
