WHAT??!!! GOP PLATFORM: OPPOSE AGENDA 21

The following quote is from the 2012 Republican National Convention Platform: 'Because of our concern for American sovereignty, domestic management of our fisheries, and our country's long-term energy needs, we have deep reservations about the regulatory, legal, and tax regimes inherent in the Law of the Sea Treaty and congratulate Senate Republicans for blocking its ratification. We strongly reject the U.N. Agenda 21 as erosive of American sovereignty, and we oppose any form of U.N. Global Tax.'

Now I'll read the Democratic National Convention Platform and get back to you on whether it includes a similar plank....right. Those of us who are Democrats need to let our Central Committees know that we are expecting to see this in the platform. We're looking for the evidence that this is not a dictatorship.

Of course it takes a lot more than just words to repudiate the principles of UN Agenda 21/Sustainable Development. Just making a statement does absolutely nothing -- especially if the programs, plans, subsidies, grants, restrictions, etc. are not identified as Agenda 21. Then it's just placating a faction of the Republican party that is threatening to make trouble for the rulers. I think people got a good look at it at the convention when they saw what happened to the Ron Paul delegates and the 'new rules.' The mask slipped off.

This is not a partisan movement--this grassroots movement against UN Agenda 21/Sustainable Development recognizes that power has no party. Playing one party against another is part of this manipulation. You can see that, right? This is a freedom movement. Ron Paul's delegates were silenced. Will you be? BE THE RESISTANCE. WE'RE WITH YOU. Call it what you will: Oligarchy, dictatorship, fascism, totalitarian. It's not freedom.

SOCIAL EQUITY is code for Low Income Housing owned or controlled by government. This is subsidized with your tax dollars and enriches huge low income housing developers who get infrastructure paid for by government; tax credits; loans with delayed payment (sometimes the first payment kicks in 20 years down the line); loan guarantees (no payback required); rents plus ability to sell the building and start the clock all over again. Low income housing is a scam. It is also the preferred design for UN Agenda 21--easy to surveil you and monitor your movements. Crowd management. Overbuilding of low income housing ensures a place to put people who will be coming into urban centers from the rural and suburban areas. This is the reason that population increases are predicted for 2025 and 2050. Low income housing is the hardscape for your future poverty. An urban jail that you can leave to go and look for food.

Social equity takes privately owned land and transfers it to land trusts or government agencies (through conservation easements, TDR, restrictions and species findings). Social equity justifies moving industries out of our country. Social equity enables the collapse of our economy through growing competition off-shore with our tax dollars. Social equity creates poverty and dependence on government programs.

The purpose of education is to socialize you and get you to go along to get along. If you thought that education was supposed to teach you 'content,' you are sadly mistaken. This is why children can't read or do basic math. The purpose of education is to make you obedient and manageable. If you get the wrong answer you run through the hoops again until you get it right. Like a dog. Or a rat. Life-long learning doesn't focus on education, but on 'skills.' It is training for whatever need the 'community' may identify as required. Direct instruction means that nothing comes between the child or adult and the glowing box that you're looking at right now. Get it wrong? Do it again. Double plus good.

HOW MANY MEMBERS DOES ICLEI HAVE WORLDWIDE?

ICLEI--International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives doesn't want you to know. That's why they took down the world maps that they had up on their new website. http://local2012.iclei.org/add-your-city/
Why doesn't ICLEI want you to know how many cities are members? You'd have to ask them, but we're guessing that they'd rather have you in the dark. ICLEI has over 7,800 member cities worldwide. About 1,300 of them are in the US. That's roughly twice the number that they report on their ICLEI-USA website. As recently as 2009 ICLEI was reporting that they had 1,200 members worldwide. Now it's 7,800+.

Yes, maybe they want you to think that we have them on the run, that cities are getting out. But the truth is that cities are dropping their membership AFTER they've gotten all of the software, sample ordinances, and monitoring from ICLEI. Then they just keep on implementing ICLEI systems. It's a smokescreen.

You have to demand that your city purge its General Plan of Climate Action Plans, smart codes (form based zoning), greenhouse gas monitoring, land use restrictions, and go back over all of the hundreds of new ordinances that came out of this box of laws ICLEI distributes. ICLEI is actually a parallel government. It is an implementation, monitoring, and funding arm for UN Agenda 21/Sustainable Development worldwide.

No, it's not easy. Start today by educating your local officials. It's election season. Demand that those who are running for local office state their position on UN Agenda 21/Sustainable Development and ICLEI membership. Show them Alabama's new law (SB 477). Make it clear that this is a non-partisan issue. Use your ability to work with other groups to form coalitions around purging your local laws and General Plans.

Do it now. KICK ICLEI OUT of Dover, Bellingham, Marin, Sonoma, Tulsa, Maplewood, Rockville, Irvine, Jackson, Falls Church, Rye, New Orleans, Belmont, Devens, Miami, Branford, Loveland, Napa, Brattleboro, Seattle, Knoxville, Brighton, Santa Clara, Moscow, Ventura. Expel ICLEI from Italy, Canada, Australia, Germany, Austria, Sweden, France, Spain, Portugal, England, Ireland, Norway, Denmark, Russia, Urkraine, Czech Republic, New Zealand, Cuba, Ghana. Purge ICLEI from Mexico, Israel, Egypt, Indonesia, China, and all of the other countries it has infested like a virus.

THE 'PIG FARM NEXT TO A CHURCH' DISINFORMATION CAMPAIGN

The propaganda campaigners are on the warpath...as usual. Planners have created a false argument and spread it around so that people who are ignorant will think they're real smart when they accuse us of supporting individual rights that would permit a pig farm next to a church.

Yep, this is the 'argument.' That those of us who are alerting the public to the smart growth/UN Agenda 21 manipulation are ANARCHISTS. This is a smoke-screen and a diversion, an absurd smear that does not address the reality of how form-based zoning and General Plan requirements for Transit Oriented Development take our private property rights. The picture above is from wikipedia under the Form-Based Code entry. Take a look at the link for an animated example of how form-based codes work. These are zoning codes that are changing the face of America. The idea is that buildings should be densely packed and built right to the edge of the sidewalk. Look at the cartoon. See those buildings scoot up to the edge of the sidewalk? Those existing buildings that move like magic to the edge of the sidewalk ? Now go out on your street and do that. Go ahead, try and move the existing building to the edge of the sidewalk. Impossible, isn't it?

These cartoons really say it all. Monolithic buildings will be constructed where a variety of building styles once stood. Property owners are losing their land and buildings through regulations, restrictions, eminent domain, redevelopment, sustainable communities initiatives, and many more programs that shift property ownership to public private partnerships.

The false 'argument' that those of us fighting the redesignation of our city centers to Transit Oriented Development and mixed use would want to see a pig farm next to a church is designed to marginalize and mock you. The truth is that your zoning is made irrelevant by the overall plan for your city, called a General Plan, that trumps zoning. If you don't conform to the new form-based zone (adopted in some cities), or new General Plan mixed use designations then your building is 'legally non-conforming.' The goal is to gradually phase out all buildings and uses that don't conform, no matter what impact this will have on the existing owners or tenants of those buildings.

You can't move your existing building 20 feet. You can't just build two stories of apartments on top of your retail store. Your city knows this. The planners know this. You know this. But the press will lie and call you an anarchist in order to misinform the public. Fight back. Counter this false argument with the facts of form-based zoning.

Speaking of facts about form-based zoning, here's a doozie: (From Wikipedia--Mandatory codes. This is the most common adoption approach. It has the most regulatory "teeth"—compliance is required. But it is the most ambitious of the approaches, making the new code a seamless part of, or a complete replacement for, the existing zoning ordinance. The form-based code can be adopted as a new zoning district or as an overlay district. Unique to California and a few other states with appropriate enabling legislation, form-based codes can be contained within a planning document called a "specific plan," which can completely override the zoning ordinance for a given geographic area.

So what does this mean? It means that zoning is irrelevant, that form-based codes can over-ride zoning and be mandatory. What else? That, with few exceptions, anything that fits into the building is ok. This code is 'form-based' which means that it's form over function. Yes, if you can squeeze into the building then it doesn't matter what you do in it. In Mexico you see this as having a tortilla factory (extremely noisy) in a residential neighborhood because it fits in the building. Sound good?

Smart Growth is an ideology. It is also the hardscape for your future poverty under UN Agenda 21/Sustainable Development.
