And more good news--BALDWIN COUNTY, ALABAMA rejects HORIZON 2025

9/28/2012

We're going to see this more and more often: active citizens protesting a comprehensive plan and refusing to go along.  This time it was in Baldwin County, Alabama on August 7, 2012.   You'll remember that Alabama's legislature passed SB 477 and it was signed into law by the governor.  Click here for our post on it.  So of course this comprehensive plan, which is like every other comprehensive plan in the entire United States of America, should have been on the ash heap instantly.  But we're not used to identifying UN Agenda 21/Sustainable Development yet, I guess, so this needed to be dumped by the citizens and the county commissioners.  The planners need some re-education, wouldn't you say?

Here's how the article starts:

BAY MINETTE, Alabama -- Egged on by a large crowd invoking property rights, United Nations Agenda 21, the U.S. Constitution and even the Communist Manifesto, the Baldwin County Commission killed the Horizon 2025 comprehensive plan today.

Following the 3-1 vote, many in the audience sang "God Bless America."

"This battle is about more than just planning," said commission Chairman Bob James. "This battle is to protect the Constitution of the United States and, to me, the Ten Commandments."

The resolution "repealed, rescinded, voided and nullified," the plan, with that phrase boldfaced and in all capital letters. It also remanded the plan to the Planning and Zoning Commission with "instructions to prepare a revised Master Plan and corresponding Map" for county commission to consider. The new plan "shall not unlawfully infringe on protected private property rights without due process of law."

By the way, if you read the article and then the comments, you'll see that some unhappy campers are using the old 'arguments' about zoning. They're using the opportunity to say that if we have our way and defeat these comprehensive plans that restrict private property rights we'll be putting a pig farm next to a church.  Take a look at this post to knock propagandists like them right out of the boat.

CONGRATULATIONS, BALDWIN COUNTY, ALABAMA!  CHANGING THE GAME.  WE'VE GOT THE BALL--LET'S RUN WITH IT.

GASTON, N.C. DOES IT AGAIN!  Guts and perserverance win out

9/28/2012

From the Gaston Gazette:
Gaston County and Gastonia leaders have gone around in circles debating the merits of joining a new regional planning initiative in the past month.

On Thursday night, Gaston County commissioners cut to the chase. With little discussion, they voted 4-3 against formally participating in the CONNECT our Future project.

Click here to read the article and the comments

When you read that article you won't be surprised that it's biased against those of us who recognize the undermining of representative government when we see it.  We understand that the allure of federal grants is the candy coating around the razor blade of regional governance.  The writer of the article trots out the tried-and-true propaganda lines:  We're afraid.  We're black helicopter fantasists.  We're paranoid.  We're against 'talking with our neighbors.'  What a huge effort the reporter puts into making sure that no one knows exactly what the 'CONNECT our Future' project actually is.

It's exactly like all of the other Sustainable Communities Regional Plans all over the US (but they say it's YOUR plan and unique to your town.)  Yes, it's millions of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) dollars--taxpayer dollars--used for planning.  Regional planning.  In this case it's 14 counties 'talking to each other.'  But what is it really? It's Agenda 21.  Social Equity, Economy, Environment, and Education.  Top down, managed, and manufactured consensus.  An erasure of jurisdictional boundaries and the further empowerment of a supra-governmental unelected regional board that will supplant the local electorate.  Congratulations to Gaston County for having the guts to reject the easy money with big strings attached.

I blogged about Gaston, NC back in January 2012 when the county commissioners there passed a resolution against UN Agenda 21  Click here to read

So guess what?  'CONNECT our Future' should have come up before the commissioners and then been immediately rejected because it is UN Agenda 21.  Remember:  THEY DON'T CALL IT UN AGENDA 21 WHEN IT COMES TO TOWN.

LOOK OUT FOR THOSE HUD SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITIES INITIATIVES AND CHALLENGE GRANTS--They are UN Agenda 21.

QE3: Shipwreck Ahead

9/26/2012

What's a major goal of UN Agenda 21/Sustainable Development?
Collapse the world economy.
How's it going?
Ask the Spanish, Greeks, Italians, Irish...or the Americans.
They call it 'austerity measures.'  The new poverty.  The new austerity.  They won't be done till you're chewing your shoes.

Bernanke's latest 'solution' is to buy $40 billion in mortgage backed securities...every month.  That's about 1/2 a trillion dollars a year. These are residential mortgages that are in default or expected to go into default.  What does that mean?  Transfer of property ownership to the Fed.  Or to the corporations or non-profits that it designates as managers or owners of the property.  And recapitalize the banks.

About 18 months ago I did a post on Redfields to Greenfields.  Here's a piece of it:

A one trillion dollar federal program to enable local governments to purchase vacant residential, commercial, and industrial properties from banks and demolish them.  Why?

So that more green space can be created in cities.  They call this turning redfields (vacant bank-owned properties in the 'red') to greenfields (parks and open space).

In this fantasy world of more and more federal money created out of thin air, underperforming property held in private ownership will be converted to publicly held open space.  Your community, which now can't keep your existing parks watered and maintained, will acquire bank-owned land.  In this sort of perfect UN Agenda 21 spin, all of the people in smartgrowth buildings downtown need a place to play.  It has to be a public place because government can't observe you when you're in your backyard.  In another 'rescue' of banks and as a part of UN Agenda 21's war on private property, existing buildings will be demolished and private land taken off of the property tax rolls.  Demolition of buildings (how's that for a greenhouse gas/carbon generating/landfill glutting solution) and building parks will 'create jobs' in this scenario.

Let's say it again: ONE TRILLION DOLLARS of federal money is proposed for this 'land-based approach to solving America's economic crisis.'  That quote is from the Urban Land Institute's January/February 2010 articleFrom Vacant Properties to Green Space.  It covers the 'story' that City Parks Alliance, of Washington, DC is developing a federal funding strategy for this scheme.

So how does this all fit in?  Well, one less step is necessary because the Fed acquires the 'toxic' debt and takes the banks out of the picture.  This move will reduce private land ownership and continue that downward spiral.  Indefinitely.  Yes, the plan is 'open-ended.'

Printing more money will increase inflation (probably at least 20% in the next 8-10 months), and costs will go up while wages go down.  Cash on hand is devalued, fewer people can qualify for mortgages, less stable employment.  What does that translate to?  It might look like 'demand' for smart growth.  But it will be people pushed to the wall and desperate for a place to live.  Those micro-units will be subsidized with the inflated tax dollars but the real story will be that land will be moved into government controlled holding companies.  Land trusts.

What about 'DEBT FOR NATURE?'  Have you heard of that?  I blogged on it about a year ago.

The Club of Paris is the creditor group of nations and the rules they play by.  Sort of the Biggest Little Casino in the World, or, maybe more accurately, The Biggest Organized Crime Ring in the World.  The Club of Paris sounds like a gentleman's social club and it is, in a way.  It's where the G8 and up get together to decide how much credit to give smaller nations or larger nations who need it.  And what they want for it.  You can think of it as the "Pound of Flesh A Month Club."  Our flesh.  Or our natural resources.  Yes.  That is a way to pay off debt in this club.  It's called Debt For Nature.  Remember I said you can't make this stuff up.  This is real.

Does that have anything to do with the fact that the US is closing off access to our National Forests through the Wildlands Project?  Are we paying off debt with natural resources?  With water?

With the Trans Texas Corridor?

Yes, it looks that way.  The Club of Paris has another provision for debt payoff called Debt Swap.  This is where the government of the creditor nation sells the debt itself to an investor who then sells that debt back to the debtor government in exchange for shares in a local company or local currency.  But that doesn't make a lot of sense does it?  That last part?  Here's the deal in a way that we are familiar with.  You want to buy a house.  You need a loan.  You get the loan.  The lender doesn't keep the loan but sells it to an investor at a discount (this happens all the time, every day).  Now you're paying your loan payments to the new guy.  But he says hey, I'll sell you your own debt, in other words I'll cancel your debt, if you give me shares in ... but wait.  How can you, Mr. President of a country, sell  your creditor shares in a local company?  Governments don't own companies, do they? Well, maybe they do...GM?  Fannie Mae?

And if you had enough local currency to pay off the debt you probably would have already.  So what are you going to use to buy back, or cancel, your debt?  How about Bechtel getting Bolivia's water?  Remember?  The Bolivians fought that and finally won against Bechtel.  But Carlyle Group, Nestle, and others are buying up water rights. How about a big hunk of land?  Oil and gas leases?  Timber? Toll roads?

Club of Paris.  Check it out.

Yes, our economy is being destroyed.  We have a long way to fall.  Democrat/Republican---all the same in this game.  When the pensions can't be paid, when the benefits don't come, when the payments end, it won't matter which party you're in.  The thing to recognize is that there are winners and losers and you're a loser in this game.   IT'S A CONSPIRACY, AND THAT AIN'T NO THEORY.

SPEAK OUT.  SHARE THIS INFORMATION.  REMEMBER THAT YOU'RE NOT ALONE.  YOU ARE THE RESISTANCE.

Redefining Freedom: Facial Recognition,Mannerism Identification, the FBI & you

9/17/2012

About 5 years ago, in an airport waiting line, I struck up a conversation with a man who told me that he was a security software developer working on contracts for various governments.  He told me that it was possible to identify anyone from their facial characteristics.  I said that if someone were wearing sunglasses that would be difficult, right?  No, he said, because there were actually metrics for identifying someone covered completely, by mapping their physical movements.  He said that each of us is unique to a minor, measurable, degree.
This is apparently also useful in identifying those who play video games, type on their computers, or use any electronic device--our keystrokes are identifiable.

I just received this article from the online magazine Russia Today:

"Birthmarks, be damned: the FBI has officially started rolling out a state-of-the-art face recognition project that will assist in their effort to accumulate and archive information about each and every American at a cost of a billion dollars.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has reached a milestone in the development of their Next Generation Identification (NGI) program and is now implementing the intelligence database in unidentified locales across the country, New Scientist reports in an article this week. The FBI first outlined the project back in 2005, explaining to the Justice Department in an August 2006 document (.pdf) that their new system will eventually serve as an upgrade to the current Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System (IAFIS) that keeps track of citizens with criminal records across America .

“The NGI Program is a compilation of initiatives that will either improve or expand existing biometric identification services,” its administrator explained to the Department of Justice at the time, adding that  the project, “will accommodate increased information processing and sharing demands in support of anti-terrorism.”

“The NGI Program Office mission is to reduce terrorist and criminal activities by improving and expanding biometric identification and criminal history information services through research, evaluation and implementation of advanced technology within the IAFIS environment.”

The agency insists, “As a result of the NGI initiatives, the FBI will be able to provide services to enhance interoperability between stakeholders at all levels of government, including local, state, federal, and international partners.” In doing as such, though, the government is now going ahead with linking a database of images and personally identifiable information of anyone in their records with departments around the world thanks to technology that makes fingerprint tracking seem like kids' stuff."

STRANGER THAN FICTION: SOCIAL EQUITY IN MENTAL ILLNESS DIAGNOSIS

9/14/2012

If you read that headline and guessed that you knew what this post was going to be about---you're wrong.  In the 'Stranger Than Fiction' category of UN Agenda 21/Sustainable Development manipulation, the Santa Rosa, California City Schools are getting a look behind the mask.  Here's the beginning of the article in the Santa Rosa Press Democrat:

'Santa Rosa City Schools has run afoul of California Department of Education regulations because of an imbalance in the racial and ethnic makeup of the students in a particular special education category.

Of the 5,244 white students in the district's general education middle and high school enrollment in 2010-11, 1.4 percent were classified as emotionally disturbed. In the same year, just .4 percent of Latino students — 16 out of 4,418 — were in the same category.'

Yes, you read that right.  Not enough students of color have been identified as emotionally disturbed, so the Santa Rosa School District has to pay out of general funds to 'remedy the problem.'

Social equity.  Gotta love it.

Hating Sustainable Development is like hating kittens

9/9/2012

According to the latest article in the American Bar Association magazine, Probate and Property, we're haters.  Kitten haters to be exact.  Rosa was interviewed for the magazine's article on how lawyers should be thinking about smart growth--that's what the propaganda was about.

Take a look here at the video of Rosa's interview with James Slaton, attorney/journalist for Probate and Property.  Click here.

ROCHESTER, NH, REFUSES FEDERAL SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITIES INITIATIVE GRANT!  EXCELLENT NEWS!

9/4/2012

AFTER A LOT OF HARD WORK ON THE PART OF MANY IN NEW HAMPSHIRE, THE ROCHESTER CITY COUNCIL VOTED NOT TO TAKE THE MONEY, NOT TO BE MANIPULATED, AND NOT TO BOW DOWN TO THE REGION!  CONGRATULATIONS, ROCHESTER!

It's not every day that a city refuses federal grants.  And it's not every day that citizens fill the halls of the city and demand that their elected officials resist the easy money of regional planning grants.  But that's exactly what happened tonight in Rochester, New Hampshire.  When I was on a speaking tour in New Hampshire in June I was impressed with the determination of my friends there to educate their fellow citizens on UN Agenda 21/Sustainable Development and how global governance is implemented.  We talked about how the Granite State Future plan is the same regional plan that is being rolled out all over the US and the world.  'Live Free or Die,' the New Hampshire motto, is not just words to these freedom fighters---they mean it.
CONGRATULATIONS, ROCHESTER!

Just got an email---Here's one: Urban Revitalization Plan-For Sustainable and Responsible Development---How could I forget REDEVELOPMENT?

    And the winner is...

What is UN Agenda 21/Sustainable Development?
It is the blueprint, the comprehensive plan of action for the 21st century to inventory and control all land, all water, all plants, all minerals, all animals, all construction, all means of production, all energy, all law enforcement, all health care, all food, all education, all information, and all human beings in the world
    .

Your energy consumption will be controlled until you can't farm, can't manufacture, can't travel, can't fish, can't use your land. Productivity and businesses are limited now.

You've heard that story about Tony Blair asking Angela Merkel how Germany could have such a high GDP when it was such a small country.  Merkel snapped at him: We still make things in Germany, Mr. Blair.
