COMMON CORE: THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG

1/4/2014

The big picture of globalization/one world government is dependent on the inventory and control of all aspects of your life.  Knowing that the 'fourth pillar' of UN Agenda 21 is culture (click here to read my blog post) you'll recognize that public education, in order to change perception and behavior, is essential to the implementation of the action plan for the 21st century. In order to ensure the standardization of perception and behavior throughout the world it is necessary to change the educational system.  Education is the base for all cultural change simply because it is compulsory for all children (in most nations) and the opportunity for shaping their thoughts and actions spans their most formative years.  The trend toward "Life Long Education" continues to enforce collective thinking and the substitution of emotion for reason.

The following video is an Alex Jones/Charlotte Iserbyt interview discussing Common Core, it's history, and the true consequences of standardized, uniform 'education' managed by unelected boards and financed with your tax dollars.

Charlotte announces the release of her phenomenal conference DVD set available on Amazon here.  I was honored to be a small part of this historic collection of riveting presentations exposing the dark truths of the educational system.  From process to philosophy to results, this dynamic conference examines what is behind The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America.

Please grab a copy of the Global Road to Ruin Through Education Conference and watch it with friends and family.

VLADIMIR PUTIN IS A CLONE: GUEST POST FROM VICKY DAVIS

12/20/2013

The following was just posted by our good friend, researcher Vicky Davis at www.channelingreality.com.  We're sharing it with you here because there are some very important points to be learned from Russian President Vladimir Putin's State of the Union address.   All world leaders are globalists now, or will be.  Health care is being used as a way to experiment on and collect data on all human beings using biometrics and genomics.  Mandatory health 'care' will ensure that no one escapes the net.  The message is the same whether you're in Russia, or the United States, or the EU, or fill-in-the-blank.

Remember:  UN Agenda 21/Sustainable Development is the action plan to inventory and control all human beings and resources in the world.

Here's Vicky:
I just finished listening to Vladimir Putin's Address on the State of the Russian Federation.  With just the slightest bit of tweeking , Putin's Address could have been given by Barack Obama or George W. Bush.  The programs are the same.  The solutions are the same.  The agenda is the same.  Putin is a clone putting forth the global technocratic agenda and the centrally planned, university driven "innovation" economy.  In one area however, he was more direct with the Russian people than American politicians are.

Putin's speech is now posted on C-Span.  I can't stress enough how important it is for you to listen to it just so that you know for yourself that his agenda for Russia is the same agenda as here.

Russian State of the Union Address with President Vladimir Putin
December 12, 2013
Program ID:  316776-1
Category:  International Telecasts
Format:  Speech

I also found a printed copy of the speech from a website address given on the screen.  There is a brief summary first but after that is the actual text of Putin's speech.

http://www.eng.kremlin.ru/news/6402

The cloned health care agenda from the text of his speech:

"Health care -
In recent years, we have been able to achieve a great deal in the healthcare sector. Life expectancy has gone up. Mortality from cardiovascular and many other types of diseases has gone down. However, we are still far from our target indicators.

The big question that remains is a realistic approach to the insurance principle in healthcare. Today, the function of mandatory health insurance is essentially to “pump money” to the recipient through the extrabudgetary fund rather than the budget. The objective is entirely different. The objective is for the insurance principle to work as an incentive for people to take responsibility for their health, to have financial incentives to live a healthy lifestyle, and for insurance companies to be interested in medical institutions providing high-quality services, so that a patient finally has the opportunity to select the medical institution that, in his or her opinion, works best.

The mandatory health insurance system should fully financially cover state guarantees for providing free medical assistance. This applies equally to the total spending volume and directing funding to a specific hospital or clinic. At the same time, the patient should clearly understand which healthcare services he or
she is entitled to receive free of charge, and the doctor should understand the principles upon which his or her work is paid.

Particular emphasis should be placed on developing a preventive treatment system. Beginning in 2015, all children and teenagers must have a yearly mandatory free medical check-up, while adults should undergo such an examination every three years.

Clearly, there will be an increase in disease detection during routine medical examinations, and the need for high-tech medical care will grow. In recent years, we have created a whole network of federal centres, supporting ones that are located in major cities, but also creating a new federal network of centres capable of providing medical assistance at the most advanced level. We need to maintain and develop
their potential. At the same time, services at these centres must be accessible not just to the residents of the cities where they are located, but also residents of other regions. We must provide the necessary financial resources for that.

On the whole, over the next three years, we must create the conditions to perform 50% more high-tech operations than today. This is an entirely achievable goal. At the same time, we cannot fall behind the global trends. Leading nations already stand at the threshold of implementing medical technologies built on bio- and genetic engineering, based on the human genome sequence. This will truly revolutionise medicine. I believe that the Healthcare Ministry and the Russian Academy of Sciences should make fundamental and applied medical research a priority."---above is text from Vladimir Putin's State of the Union Address to Russia.

Of course he is talking about the Global Health system and he is telling you that the global priority is bio and genetic engineering... and that APPLIED MEDICAL RESEARCH   is a priority.

The crimes against humanity will be no less---simply because the leaders of countries have become clones for the globalist agenda and they will all be co-conspirators.  If anything, it should scare the hell out of you.   It does me.

IS IT EXPLOITATION OR ASSISTANCE?  YOU DECIDE

12/4/2013

I recently learned of a United Nations study on environmental funding for projects around the world.  The UN wanted to know what programs are working.  One of the researchers shared an example of 'what's working' with me.
Picture
An oil exploration/services company wanted to operate off of the coast of Panama.  In order to obtain permission from the Panamanian government, this corporation agreed to work with an indigenous group of Indians who have been living in and cutting down their forest habitat.  The corporation offered to provide 15 years worth of compensation to the Indians in exchange for their commitment to stop cutting the trees.  Payment would be on an annual basis.  In order to monitor the project the oil exploration corporation required that the Indians give up their ownership title to their land for the 15 year period.  If they didn't cut the trees they would get their land titles back in 15 years.  An independent third party non-governmental organization would monitor the land for the 15 year term.

The oil exploration corporation would then own the land for 15 years and be able to sell carbon credits for that land on the international market.
Picture
When I was told about this plan I asked the following questions:

Why did the Indians need the oil exploration corporation to make this agreement for carbon credits?  Couldn't an NGO arrange this for them without a middle man and without them having to give up ownership of their land?

Are the carbon credits projected to fully compensate the oil exploration corporation for their 15 years of payments to the Indians? Will there be a profit for the oil exploration corporation besides the profit on oil drilling?

What will the Indians do for 15 years?  Will they have to change their lives and traditional way of living?  What happens at the end of the 15 years?  What other impacts might result from loss of land ownership over a generation?  How would the NGO monitoring the land use change the relationship of the Indians to their land?

What is the nexus between oil drilling and Indians besides exploitation?

The researcher was angry and disgusted with me for asking these questions, and said that I was biased against seeing that it was a benefit for the people.  I said that these questions should be explored and answered fully before any agreements were made.  The researcher said that the questions had not occurred to him and that as far as he was concerned it's a 'win-win.'

Is it?  We'll know in 15 years, if anyone cares to look.  It's not too hard to figure out that moving people out of the rural and suburban areas (a goal of UN Agenda 21) is well-served by this oil company/Indian exploitation-or-windfall scheme.  At the end of 15 years will there be any Indians left in that village?  The carbon sink game is one that is sure to benefit those with big money and power.   Very soon now you'll be paying for your carbon-heavy travel and lifestyle.  You can pay voluntarily when you book travel on some airlines, but this is just the start.

Think globally, act locally.  The biggest public relations scam in the history of the world has cast a big net.

THE FOURTH PILLAR OF UN AGENDA 21:  CULTURE

12/1/2013

Often you'll hear UN Agenda 21's primary elements referred to as a "three-legged stool":  Economy, Ecology, and Social Equity.  You'll see this image:
Picture
Where the elements come together in the middle is the 'sustainable' balance that is the supposed goal of the restructuring of every aspect of your life.

In 2004 a 'world congress of cities' was formed to comment on the part that 'culture' plays in re-crafting identity.  Out of that congress the fourth pillar emerged: Culture.
Picture
"The Agenda 21 for culture is the first document with worldwide mission that advocates establishing the groundwork of an undertaking by cities and local governments for cultural development. The Agenda 21 for culture was agreed by cities and local governments from all over the world to enshrine their commitment to human rights, cultural diversity, sustainability, participatory democracy and creating conditions for peace.

It was approved by the 4th Forum of Local Authorities for Social Inclusion of Porto Alegre, held in Barcelona on 8 May 2004 as part of the first Universal Forum of Cultures.

United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG) adopted the Agenda 21 for culture...UCLG’s Working Group on Culture, constituted in Beijing on 9 June 2005, is the meeting point for cities, local governments and networks that place culture at the heart of their development processes."
This group, United Cities and Local Governments, says it represents half the population of the world but you've never heard of it.

So what could this mean?  The fourth pillar of UN Agenda 21 is CULTURE.  Think about some of what we're seeing around the world:

Across the United States, the indigenous people, Indians, are opening casinos.   Indians are considered a sovereign nation within US borders but receive federal funds and assistance.  Tribal heads who were not elected by tribe members are running the tribes like dictatorships and
dis-enrolling members of their tribes who dare to challenge the ruling establishment of tribal councils.  By the stroke of a pen an Indian becomes a non-Indian.

Cultural events often take place in rural areas, but less and less people are able to survive in their traditional rural towns. Regulations, restrictions, and outright prohibitions on timbering, fishing, ranching, and other rural pursuits has left an indelible mark on 'cultural' America.  If you're not indigenous you lose your right to work your land.

The emphasis on tourism has relegated culture in many places around the world to folk dances and ethnic meals provided for the consumption of outsiders.  Economies in some areas are dependent on the entertainment of these consumers of culture, and town centers are turned into pseudo-museums for their pleasure.  Often authentic members of these areas are unable to afford their own 'culture' or find it to be commercialized into a caricature of the past.  The preservation of these living museums may mean that anything that isn't scenic has to go away, even it means economic collapse.

Culture may be defined as modern dance and art learned and produced in a university setting with all of the requirements that academia demands. Analyzing the creation becomes the culture itself.

New rights are being granted: positive rights.  Positive rights can be taken away or granted, unlike the rights we have guaranteed by the United States Constitution.  Our constitutional rights are those we are born with, they can't be taken away or granted by a government -- just protected by it. UN Agenda 21 'rights' are really privileges designed as rewards and punishments.

Discrimination will extend to anything which acknowledges difference, but only when it is being done by others.  You'll be a 'hater' if you note unfair advantage, manipulation, or discrimination against the traditional mainstream.  Culture is something to be used as a tool in the manipulation of demographics. The emphasis on diversity, on empowering women and youth, and the poor, and others formerly less attended to by society means that culture is defined by the 'other' rather than by those who live it.  It is externalized, commercialized, romanticized, and politicized for the benefit of the elitist consumer while the exploitation of the social group is carpeted over in green.

When you contemplate what culture is, you'll find yourself reflecting on agricultural, rural values; you'll think about nature and the seasons and crops; you'll think about longtime communities of friends and family; you'll think about religion and ritual; you'll contemplate courtship and marriage, and childbirth, and death.  Culture is the human being's journey through life and beyond.

United Nations' Agenda 21 is a sham imitation of this.  It is the green mask of concern for the continuation of life covering a goal of pushing humans into urban islands of human habitation.  This densely urban life of stress and economic deprivation is 'the new poverty' or the new austerity that redefines the individual's relationship to his/her government.  UN Agenda 21 empowers the regional unit, whether it's in the Americas (example: Cascadia) or Europe (Danube Region: Centrope) over the nation and its manageable, responsive units.  We are becoming hapless targets of the Mega-Corporations in their rush to exploit a moveable workforce taught whatever corporations need us to know in order to produce their widgets.  Huge corporations sell you what they tell you you want, and you buy it.  Smart Phone? Tracking device with built-in GPS.  Video Games?  Sociopathic training designed to develop action without introspection.  ATT or Comcast Home Security?  In home video surveillance.

This is your culture now.

Merry Christmas.

UN Agenda 21 images from Europe

9/29/2013

UN Agenda 21 is strongly present in Europe, though few are aware of it.  One hundred and seventy nine cities are members of ICLEI, including some of Europe's most populous: London, Madrid, Rome, Berlin, Amsterdam, and Copenhagen.

All European countries agreed to UN Agenda 21 at the Rio Earth Summit in 1992 (click for a link to see the plans each country made to implement UN Agenda 21).  Many, like Denmark, changed their planning and zoning acts to require Local Agenda 21 implementation. Some cities, such as London and Copenhagen, have created 'iron rings' around city access points in order to charge tolls for those entering. Vehicle license plates are photographed and registered electronically, and toll charges are sent directly to vehicle owners. Surveillance, monitoring, and tracking.  In the US, the Golden Gate Bridge recently switched to this system.

As countries become more and more urbanized and populations are concentrated into these centers, less people are able to understand what life is like for the farmer who struggles against Codex Alimentarius regulations for food production.  Property owners have a tenuous grip on their land as restrictions on water, access to non-GMO seed, and cost pressures force competition with major corporate producers.  As the local farmer loses his or her land the corporations increase their control of global systems.

The European Union has recently indicated that it wants armed drone capability for 'security and surveillance.'  The European Council will decide in December 2013 whether or not to permit this increase in regional power.  Regionalization, as Zbignew Brzezinski said in 1995, "is the pre-condition for...genuine globalization..because thereby we move toward larger, more stable, more cooperative units."  The European Union is an example of a so-called trade agreement that morphed into the desired interim goal: Regional governance.

The upcoming Trans-Pacific Partnership (US and 12 Pacific Rim nations) plus the TransAtlantic Trade Investment Partnership (US and EU) will begin the finalization of the ultimate step in globalization.  As the slideshow accompanying this article indicates, the mood of Europe is anti-nationalist imbued with the uneasiness of economic uncertainty.  A perfect pre-condition for full globalization.

VISITING A CONCENTRATION CAMP ON SEPTEMBER 11

9/11/2013

We spent the day at Terezin concentration camp just 40 miles from Prague, Czech Republic today.  Terezin was an existing town that had been used as a garrison and prison for hundreds of years -complete with a moat and fortifications--when the Nazis chose to use it as a collection center for Jews from all over Central Europe in 1941.  Existing residents of the town were relocated so that the entire fortified town could be used to house Jews prior to their further transfer to the work and murder 'camps'.

What makes Terezin unique among concentration camps is that it was a 'show' camp.  In order to hide the truth---that Jews were being murdered---Nazis perpetuated the lie that they were being relocated to new towns where they would be happy and able to live wonderful ives far from the disapproving eyes of others.

People in Austria, Denmark, the Netherlands, Hungary, Moldavia, Czechoslovakia, and Germany had been prepared for the isolation of their Jewish neighbors by the Nazi restrictions on the Jews' daily interactions.  At first Jews were restricted to shopping just two hours a day, could not do business for more than a couple of hours a day, could not date a non-Jew, could not marry or do business with a non-Jew...as they were squeezed out of the normal transactions of life, the Jews were seen more as 'the other' and less as 'the neighbor.'  It was easy to identify them because Jews were forced to wear a yellow cloth star with the word Jew written on it pinned to every article of clothing.

Yes, you say, impatiently.  Yes, I know all of that.   So what?  What does this have to do with Agenda 21?

Collection centers were used to concentrate Jews into central areas of Europe so that they could be moved more easily to the murder locations.

The Nazis never told them where they were going, never told the world what they were doing, never admitted to it.  As long as there was uncertainty about the purpose of the concentration camps the Nazis could continue to move populations without panicking them.  People who were being relocated, Jews, could believe that they were just being taken to a new town or work site where they would be treated decently, and there would be no need to fight against the relocation.  Why not go peacefully and with dignity?

By the time they knew what the true destination was it was too late.

The Nazis were clever.  They made propaganda films at Terezin, the concentration camp.  They used famous Jewish film directors who were prisoners, famous actors, musicians, and designers to make these films in order to fool the world.  They even remodeled some of the rooms at Terezin to make them look more pleasant, for the cameras.  These rooms were opened when the Red Cross came to inspect, and then closed again when they left.  In fact, when the Nazis knew that the Red Cross was coming they planted flowers and trees, and fed the children and provided services for the adults---but just for the time before and during the Red Cross visits.  Afterwards the Jews were taken to be murdered.

So what is the point?

Governments lie.  Is Smart Growth just another name for a collection center?  It is a concentration center for populations.  We don't know what these centers will be used for in the future.  Restricting our mobility, setting up trains, increasing surveillance, monitoring our energy usage, watching our children, tracking our movements, our purchases, our healthcare, our education...ratcheting up the restrictions.  This is Sustainable Development.

On this day, September 11, 2013, the president of the United States is advocating for the invasion of yet another country.  What is your government capable of?  Will the next targeted group be those who refuse to cooperate?

For those at square one...UN Agenda 21 in the Federal Register

8/9/2013

Picture
Can you see this?  If not, click on it and the image will expand.  What is it?  A page out of the United States Federal Register, Volume 63, No. 163, dated Monday, August 24, 1998.  The page contains notices and pertains to the federal government's efforts to implement UN Agenda 21 in the US.  (Thanks to friends in NH and FL for finding this)

The highlighted paragraph names the Sustainable Development Challenge Grant program which is now being funded by HUD (United States Department of Housing and Urban Development) and being used to regionalize the nation. Metropolitan areas all over the United States have been recipients of Sustainable Development Challenge Grants--over $100 million a year is distributed to indoctrinate the public in Sustainable Development regional planning principles. Regionalization is destroying your frayed representative government and replacing it by governance by unelected boards and commissions.

This page from the Federal Register clearly states: "The Sustainable Development Challenge Grant program is also a step in implementing 'Agenda 21, the Global Plan of Action on Sustainable Development,' signed by the United States at the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro in 1992. "

Look carefully at this page in the Federal Register and you'll see the names of other programs that the EPA and other agencies have created to comply with Agenda 21/Sustainable Development.  You'll see $mart Growth Network.  Was one of the clerks in the office being subversive or was this just a Freudian slip?  The Smart Growth Network is a non-profit public private partnership created by the EPA for the purpose of dismantling rural and suburban America. (Read the pages yourself by clicking here--pdf)

Yes, Agenda 21/Sustainable Development, the plan that is virtually unknown across the United States and the world, is being used to make policy, law, statutes, public opinion, school curriculum, media propaganda, and life decisions for all of us.  Of course your government denies it.  Of course the media scoffs at you.  Of course the school system refuses to teach the truth.  Why wouldn't they continue to try to get away with the biggest overthrow of free people in the history of the world?

TAKE COURAGE.  SPEAK OUT.

THE DANGER OF SLOGANEERING: COMMON GOOD V. INDIVIDUAL

6/13/2013

Picture
This looks so cool, doesn't it?  The hearts in the 'O's, the baby being held by her hip daddy---how could we disagree with the slogan: 'The Common Good Trumps Individual Self-Interest'?

This image is from an article in Nation of Change by Jim Hightower, a populist Texan writer.  Hightower's message is that it takes a village, more or less.  He adds in a few homilies but his main commentary is that in order to make a society we have to be thinking about others and make it possible for them to excel.  That's great, isn't it?

There is a difference between society and government.  Our government was created to protect our individual rights.  Through the government we are able to build roads and bring water to our homes, and protect ourselves against those who would do us harm both as individuals and as a nation.  We have a three branch government designed to keep any one branch (legislative, judicial, or executive) from gaining too much power.

Society, on the other hand, is not codified.  Its rules and laws are of custom, and are not enforced by government.  This is why the censorship laws have largely disappeared, and why the right to marry (a legal contract) is being disputed.  These issues are social issues, not issues that government should be involved in.  The government is founded on recourse to damages--whether to your person or to your property.

The confusion that Progressives have is that they are trying to get the government to control and dictate their social good.  Their Common Good is their 'vision' of the common good whether you like it or not.  Now, if you're a member of a church and the church makes a rule that you don't like, you can leave the church.  We have only to look at centuries of European rulership to see the consequences of having the church be the government.  Our nation was founded on religious freedom in order to avoid the misery of religious war.  Progressives are gripped with a sort of religious fervor in their effort to mandate giving up individual rights for the common good.  The Common Good is in the eye of the beholder and is not delineated.  It's a sort of 'known' in the way that 'being good' in a religious sense is 'known.'  But if you're in a Muslim country, being good might mean keeping your hair covered, praying 5 times a day, and being submissive to your husband.

Communitarianism is dependent on social pressure in order to function.  That pressure can make you do things that you don't like, that you don't agree with, that violate your principles, because you feel shame or embarrassment or you might be ostracized.  This kind of behavior is actually a primitivist concept.  It is a sort of tribal attitude that does not allow for individuals to go their own way and answer to their own 'vision.'  Self interest is not wrong.  Individualism is mental, physical, and spiritual freedom.  Each individual determines how he or she would like to contribute to the productivity of the larger social structure.  But the idea that your concerns for yourself and your family would be TRUMPED by the 'common good' is a dangerous one.  That slogan subsumes the individual into the greater whole and reinforces a mentality that finds comfort in totalitarianism.

If you work with a group do it as an individual, and always stay true to your individual values.  Be careful not to lose yourself in the group.

Awareness is the first step in the Resistance.  Be aware of your own actions and your desire to impose your version of the 'common good' on others.

SNOWDEN, CATCH-22, AND THE DEHUMANIZATION OF OUR NATION

6/10/2013

When I saw the name of the brave man who released the truth about the US government's search of our communications without a warrant I was struck by the connection to Joseph Heller's classic book Catch-22.  The 1961 novel is about the insanity and absurdity of war and the men who run the bureaucracy that keeps it going.  The term 'Catch-22' has filtered into our language to mean being trapped in a situation from which there is no escape, even when we see the damage it's doing to us.

Edward Snowden is the ex-CIA defense contractor working for Booz Allen who blew the whistle on the extent of data collection by the government.  He is now seeking asylum outside of the US in an attempt to avoid life imprisonment for the release of government secrets.  The absurdity of this is fully apparent: he will go to prison for releasing the secret documents showing that our government is secretly obtaining and reviewing our secret documents and communications.  This is a Catch-22 situation.

There is a character in the novel Catch-22 named Snowden.  Snowden dies near the end of the book and symbolizes the descent of man to the condition of animals who live and die without reason.  The basis of Catch-22 is that the war is crazy and you can only be discharged from it if you are medically discharged as being 'crazy.'  But the catch, Catch-22, is that if you try to get a discharge for being crazy you must be sane, because only a sane man would try to get out of the war. Therefore you cannot be released from duty. Do you see the parallels to the present day Snowden and our national ideal versus our nation's reality?

We have been forced into a condition where, as Senator Lindsey Graham said the other day, anyone who objects to losing their privacy rights must be guilty of a criminal act against the government, because if they were not guilty they would not object.  Catch-22.

Edward Snowden, the whistleblower, has put the United States government in a position where it must acknowledge that our security is not secure, and it is not there to keep you safe.  The purpose of national security is to spy on you.  If you object to this violation of your constitutional rights you are a suspect.  Will we allow the United States governance machine to sacrifice Snowden to its dehumanizing, technological system?  Will this Snowden, like the Snowden in the novel, be killed as a symbol of the collapse of humanity?

CATCH-22 is AGENDA 21

INDOCTRINATION IN FORMER USSR USES TECHNIQUES DEVELOPED IN USA

6/9/2013

Our friend, the esteemed researcher and whistleblower, Charlotte Iserbyt, corresponds with concerned educators and others from across the world.  Here is an email that she received from a correspondent in Bosnia:

A little information on education reform (restructuring) in ex-Yugoslavia countries and especially in Bosnia:

OBE is being implemented here for more than 7 years now. They started to teach teacher at the master degree studies (that is opened at about the same time) how to implement it. I have been enrolled there but couldn't  learn what they want because of all socialistic indoctrination taking place and all reform-things being teach... They introduce new curriculum based on achieving the predetermined outcomes which are starting to be less and less academical - just as Charlotte speaks about. When the control-staff from government  come to a class to see how a teacher works, they only look if the teacher and his students achieved the predetermined outcomes for a class and does he has evidences of that achievement.

They have a whole-semester class on Backward design at mentioned master study for teacher and they use translated book called Understanding by Design (UbD) by Grant Wiggins and Jay McTighe. That is the method for implementing OBE via Skinner's Mastery Learning...

We had here a similar thing like Carnegie Units before - but now they are introducing Mastery Learning with OBE! In Serbia, a new law, starting in 2014., will force teacher to prepare students for testing and pilot testing will be introduced as well as student being recycled until passed the test or declared learning disabled and sent to be trained for whatever job working in which he will be contributing the state. That is teaching to the test!

They also introduce the backward planning of  lessons, that is planning from the outcomes to the materials necessary... We also have a laptop per each child and one per teacher in almost every classroom.  All teachers have been in seminars to learn how to use them. Exactly as Charlotte and others told: OBE workforce training with Mastery learning and via computers and teachers teaching to the test!

At our seminars, we are being told that books will be replaced and that subject and grades will be eliminated, or at least everyone will get an 'A' but at a different time (ML)! Also, an individualized learning plan will be created for each student... Each student now has a dossier and teachers are being told to make student portfolios as well! We have also a computer data base of their grades only - for now...

They are now developing the process of integration of subjects into different areas and they are telling us to correlate each lesson from different subjects with other subjects - holistic approach!

When I read Charlotte's book and work of other great Americans that are on this mailing list, I could not believed that everything that is happening here nowadays already happened in USA and the results are known! It has been like I was "being hit by a train". Not many parents and teachers know about this reform and its goals and when I explain in to some of them, I get only ignorant opposition.

This is just a small portion of what is happening to our education today.

TURNING 6 YEAR OLDS INTO PROPAGANDA MACHINES: COMMON CORE

If you were going to take over a country without using the military you'd probably do it through the media and the educational system.  And that's exactly what we're experiencing.  If it isn't a take-over what is it?  Total manipulation of children's minds in classrooms; every magazine, movie, TV program, newspaper, and textbook is working on the rest of us with sustainable development dictates; land use plans, emergency management plans, law enforcement plans, food regulation, energy restrictions, legislative and legal decisions--all direct us and formulate public opinion to unquestioningly accept the agenda for the 21st century.

As I travel the nation speaking I am sometimes challenged by people who are paid to advocate for Smart Growth and Common Core, or the Wildlands Project or regionalization/globalization.  These are the people who pretend that we're crazy and they are the reasonable, sensible saviors of the planet. They're often employees of non-profits, government agencies, and foundations. Even when they're shown the facts they'll still deny them.  A tactic I see often is that they'll make personal attacks on me rather than address what I'm saying.  These are people who are motivated by money, or by acceptance in their social group, or job security, or by a sincere belief that they must not look deeply into Sustainable Development because the end justifies the means.  And the 'end' is the salvation of the planet, in their minds.

Many of these people are under 50.  They have been indoctrinated.
Please take a look now at a Common Core textbook for 6 year old children.  One thing you want to notice when you're watching this short video is that the text directs children to play on people's emotions when they are writing.  The other thing to notice is that the examples used include fighting a land owner who wants to build houses on land that people have been using as a park (no explanation here, just emotion: anger), and the need to manipulate parents and others.  Take a look.

This is Common Core.  Common Core is Agenda 21.

WHY IT ALL SEEMS CRAZY:  SECOND ORDER CHANGES

5/19/2013

Read the following carefully.  It is the blueprint for the disintegration of established systems, and you are seeing it all around you, now.  This article is specifically about the educational system but it applies to every aspect of our cultural, political, economic, and environmental systems.  Second order changes are in progress right now, and that is why nothing seems to make sense.

From Charlotte Thomson Iserbyt, author of The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America

THE 1990–91 (WINTER) ISSUE OF OUTCOMES, an educational journal devoted to discussion of Outcome-Based Education and the problems associated with its implementation (teachers’, administrators’ and community resistance) published a remarkable article entitled “Paradigm Change: More Magic than Logic” by John C. Hillary.
The reader should remember that the manipulation of classroom teachers and administrators discussed in this article is standard operating procedure in most schools undergoing “restructuring.”

Excerpts from Hillary’s article in Outcomes follow:
The deeper changes that frustrate leaders and threaten followers are planned second-order changes.... These changes intentionally challenge widely shared assumptions, disintegrate the context of “organization” and, in general, reframe the social system. This, in turn, generates widespread ambiguity, discontinuity, anxiety, frustration, confusion, paranoia, cynicism and anger as well as temporary dysfunction. Such trauma often builds to the point that leaders abandon their efforts.

The most disruptive changes—second order changes—on the other hand, call into question the entire context of organization. Such multidimensional changes not only challenge the content of each domain but also disrupt the alignment among them. Paradigm change is therefore not only traumatic in and of itself, but also challenges other attributes and disintegrates the relationship among all domains. The eventual outcome of such change is “transformed” or “renewed” organization.

The new vision for schooling suggested by contemporary educators represents a significant “second order” challenge to school organization.
The leader of planned second order change will be regarded as out of context by the organization. If he thinks and behaves in accord with a vision that
requires second order changes, he has no choice but to violate or challenge the established culture, mission/purpose, and paradigm of the organization.
From the existing frame of reference, such behavior will be seen as illogical. Powerful and pervasive psycho-social forces will bear down on the renegade in a relentless organizational effort to bring him back into alignment. Unless the leader succeeds in progressively bending the pervasive frame, persistence is increasingly risky.

During second order change, the organization must face and hopefully pass through a period of widespread psychological ambiguity, social disconnectedness and general confusion....The requisite disintegration of the existing culture, mission/purpose, and paradigm disrupts the organization’s frame of reference.  During this time, there is little or no clear and consistent context to guide the thinking and behavior of members. In social systems, this condition produces dysfunction, anxiety, frustration, disequilibrium, and systemic chaos.

The instigator of second order change must consistently behave in ways that will not make sense when framed by the existing context. With time and leadership, the organization environment must move from initially and
naturally selecting against the innovation to selecting for the innovation.

The extinction of the old way of doing business is the desired outcome. Hence and with time, the risk should gradually shift away from the innovator and toward those who persist in holding on to “the way it’s always been.”

COMMON CORE BACKLASH

4/15/2013

The joke is that you can mess with my kids but don't touch my dog.  Well, luckily it's not true that people--parents and educators---will stand quietly and allow their children to be abused by standardized testing and 'educational' programs.  I almost typed 'pogroms'.  Look it up.

So the Associated Press finally broke down and did a story on Common Core, but didn't name it.  They focused in on just standardized testing and not on standardized curriculum.  According to a former Bush operative who helped write No Child Left Behind, Sandy Kress, the problem is in 'overtesting.'   After the Associated Press adds a couple of columns to muddy the issue and not address standardized 'education' and data collection, Kress wraps up the article in phony concern for the children.  Here's the quote: "This is about way more than testing," Kress said.  "The question is whether we're (she means 'Society' here) willing to hold ourselves accountable.  The question is whether there are consequences for adults and whether we're serous about all children meeting standards.  This is a test of our culture and whether we're prepared to see these aspirations to reality.  I worry that we're not going to pass this test."

She's worried that society won't be able to pull off the most massive, comprehensive social manipulation since Nazi Germany, Maoist China, and Soviet Russia.  Worried.

Now I want to read you something from a book called The Gulag Archipelago.  This book was written by a man who was a prisoner in Soviet Russia during the years of Lenin and Stalin.  The book covers the years 1918-1956, and it's painful reading. The passage I'm going to share with you will answer your question:  How can people do these things?  Do they actually believe that they're doing the right thing?  Why can't they listen to us?

"Ideology--that is what gives evildoing its long-sought justification and gives the evildoer the necessary steadfastness and determination.  That is the social theory which helps to make his acts seem good instead of bad in his own and others' eyes, so that he won't hear reproaches and curses but will receive praise and honors. ..  Thanks to ideology, the twentieth century was fated to experience evildoing on a scale calculated in the millions.  This cannot be denied, nor passed over, nor suppressed.  How, then, do we dare insist that evildoers do not exist?...Yes, a human being hesitates and bobs back and forth between good and evil all his life.  He slips, falls back, clambers up, repents, things begin to darken again.  But just so long as the threshold of evildoing is not crossed, the possibility of returning remains, and he himself is still within reach of our hope.  But when, through the density of evil actions, the result either of their own extreme degree or of the absoluteness of his power, he suddenly crosses that threshold, he has left humanity behind, and without, perhaps, the possibility of return."   From Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn's The Gulag Archipelago.

According to the Associated Press article, students all over the United States are refusing to take standardized tests.  Opt-outs, boycotts, protests, and moratoriums are spreading.

GOOD MORNING, NEW ENGLAND.  WELCOME TO YOUR FUTURE

4/3/2013

Picture
If there are still any skeptics out there walking around with a bag over their heads, it's time to pull the bag off and get busy.  Honestly, you'd have to be a fool or on the payroll to deny what is going on.

So here is New England Futures, the Fat Albert of the regional plans in the Northeast (Granite State Future in New Hampshire is part of this).  I want you to take a look at who the players are (I almost typed 'payers') and who the payees are, too.  This is a huge plan involving all aspects of life.  You'll be told that you'll die as a town if you're not part of the 'region' and then you'll hear what it takes to participate.  Just your sovereignty, that's all.  Just your freedom, your ability to use your property, to make a living, to teach your children without coercion, to move freely.  Just your life.  This is not an exaggeration.  And now---New England Futures.  From their website.

Partners
The New England Futures Project is led by the Partnership for New England, a collaboration of seven organizations with a commitment to regional solutions to New England’s challenges. The members of the Partnership are:

The Citistates Group
Institute for Sustainable Communities
New England Council
New England Initiative at UMass-Lowell
Mt. Auburn Associates
New England Association of Regional Councils
The Orton Family Foundation

The Citistates Group (a lead partner). The Citistates team, headed by writers Neal Peirce and Curtis Johnson, is the only group in the United States with a track record of preparing journalistic, region-wide-based series looking at current and future strategic issues and suggesting some ways they might be addressed. Their reports have appeared in 23 major metropolitan dailies, among them the Arizona Republic, Seattle Times, Philadelphia Inquirer, Saint Louis Post-Dispatch, Miami Herald and Boston Globe. Peirce authored the 1976 book, The New England States, with a broad look at New England as a whole followed by chapters examining “people, politics and power” in each of the six states. He also wrote Over New England, companion to the New England Public Television program. He lives part of each year in New Hampshire and writes the country’s first nationally syndicated column focused on states and cities, distributed by the Washington Post Writers Group. Johnson, with Peirce, co-authored the 1993 book: Citistates: How Urban America Can Prosper in a Competitive World. A former chief of staff to a Minnesota governor, Johnson served four years as board chair of the Twin Cities’ Metropolitan Council. Farley Peters, a veteran government activist, serves as business manager and speaking agent for the Citistates Group.

Institute for Sustainable Communities (a lead partner and fiscal agent). ISC is an independent nonprofit organization that provides training, technical assistance, and financial support to communities, nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), businesses, and government agencies. ISC’s mission is to help communities around the world address environmental, economic, and social challenges to build a better future shaped and shared by all. Working in communities ranging in size from small rural villages to large industrial cities, ISC provides practical assistance that results in citizen leaders, organizations, and communities having the capacity to build on and extend the impact of projects long after ISC’s departure. ISC has a total of 92 staff and offices in Montpelier, Vermont; Washington, D.C., Ukraine, Russia, and the Balkans.

New England Council. Founded in 1925, the Council was the region’s first collective business voice and continues to coordinate the six states’ federal legislative policy, working with the region’s U.S. House delegations and 12 U.S. Senators. It also launches special projects of region-wide impact such as a recent “Creative Economy Initiative” that highlighted the major economic potential of the region’s fine arts, graphic design, theater, advertising, fashion, and web creation capacity.

New England Initiative at UMass-Lowell. Based at the Center for Industrial Competitiveness at UMass-Lowell, this newly-formed organization is headed by David Soule, former director of the Boston area Metropolitan Area Planning Council. The Initiative is assisting major regional groups research and address critical challenges shared across the six-state region.

Mt. Auburn Associates. This consulting organization has focused on economic development strategies and analysis of regional futures in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, and across the U.S. Mt. Auburn forges broad economic strategies that merge sophisticated blueprints for region-wide business openings and wealth generation (grounded in new economic opportunities with a special eye to equity and social justice issues. The group’s specialty is to develop, on one side, economic cluster development, commercial revitalization, entrepreneurship and small business development), with a corresponding focus on workforce development and imaginative community development. A recent report dealt with economic potentials across New England’s northern tier.

New England Association of Regional Councils. This organization was created to increase the effectiveness of regional councils throughout New England. Its mission is to strengthen the capability of local councils, to enhance the regional concept of planning and development, and to spark educational efforts for the general public, governmental agencies, and public and private organizations.

The Orton Family Foundation. The Vermont-based Orton Family Foundation seeks to engage and empower citizens in land use planning as a pathway to sustainable communities. In partnership with non-profit organizations, government agencies, business associations, and other intermediaries, the foundation advances its mission by promoting a diverse suite of planning tools and techniques while cultivating a deep network of civic innovators. The foundation conducts its work primarily in the Northeast and Rocky Mountain West.

GUEST POST: CHARLOTTE ISERBYT ON COMMON CORE

4/2/2013

Picture
We don't want Common Core even if it teaches the Ten Commandments.  The reason is this:  Common Core is a product of the federal government and no matter what kind of curriculum/assessment it imposes on us, it can be changed at the whim of the federal government (The United States Department of Education in bed with OECD and UNESCO).

If one wants to stop Common Core, one MUST abolish the U.S. Dept. of Education and probably all the state depts. of education which are funded by the federal Department and which take their orders from the federal Department of Education.

This is what I called for on the back of my little "Back to Basics Reform or OBE, Skinnerian International Curriculum, 1985, boycotted by ALL major conservative groups.

When I blew the whistle on Project BEST, Better Education Skills through Technology" grant which put computer software into all the states (all subjects) I was fired from my position as Senior Policy Advisor, U.S. Dept. of Education.

Changing the Common Core is like ripping all the tentacles off an octopus, but leaving the head.

Ronald Reagan did us in when he did not fulfill his promise to abolish the U.S. Dept. of Education.

Former Senior Policy Advisor
U.S. Department of Education

    And the winner is...

What is UN Agenda 21/Sustainable Development?
It is the blueprint, the comprehensive plan of action for the 21st century to inventory and control all land, all water, all plants, all minerals, all animals, all construction, all means of production, all energy, all law enforcement, all health care, all food, all education, all information, and all human beings in the world
    .

Your energy consumption will be controlled until you can't farm, can't manufacture, can't travel, can't fish, can't use your land. Productivity and businesses are limited now.

You've heard that story about Tony Blair asking Angela Merkel how Germany could have such a high GDP when it was such a small country.  Merkel snapped at him: We still make things in Germany, Mr. Blair.
